mvi HomeCare, Inc. was founded in 1995 by Dale Damioli and Kevin McGuire. The company, originally named Mahoning Valley InfusionCare, Inc. was developed as an independent, specialty provider of home infusion therapy services. As the landscape of health care changed, so did mvi. In May of 1996, responding to the needs of a changing market, mvi acquired a Medicare certified nursing agency and changed the name of the company to mvi HomeCare to better reflect the services we provide. The company, which originally started with four employees now has a staff of over 150 employees and is still growing.

mvi HomeCare has been the recipient of several awards. In 1997 the company received Pinnacle awards from the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce and the YSU Williamson School of Business' Fabulous Twenty Awards. The company was recognized for growth in sales and growth in employment. We were again recognized by the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce in 1998, 2000, 2001 and 2002 with Fabulous Twenty Awards.

1998 also saw the development of a new business unit, mvi HospiceCare. mvi HospiceCare was established to provide a broader scope of services along the continuum of care by providing Hospice Services to those facing terminal illness. Hospice recognizes dying as a natural part of the living process and focuses on maintaining the quality of remaining life.

Our growth in 1998 continued with the opening of our Columbiana Regional Office in Washingtonville, Ohio. This office increases our ability to provide our services to a greater number of patients in a larger geographic area.

In the summer of 2002 we moved into our new facility at 4891 Belmont Ave. The 16,000 square foot facility houses all operations of the company.

In March of 2006, the Columbiana Regional Office was moved to Salem, Ohio.
